RDM was an excellent housemaster at Michell and in loco parentis to the earliest bunch of our family in the 1980s. I was very pleased to read about his contributions to his own school, in the History of Merchant Taylors' School, which I was glad to share with him in the recent past. Our thoughts are with his family, especially Gill. Rest in peace.
