Robert sat on the Management Committee of The Bradby Club for Young People for many years. Founded by members of staff at Rugby School in 1919-20, to serve the less-advantaged boys of the town centre, the club is in its 97th year, and has grown into an independent dual-gender youth club with widespread support in the town and district. The club combines four open club sessions per week for young people aged 8-25, with specialist work in schools and other clubs on the Prevention of Substance Misuse, and the Prevention of Exploitation and Abuse. The Bradby Club is most grateful for any support.
